White Assumes FWBIM Ambassador Role
June 22, 2009
Free Will Baptist International Mission’s Director of Development Barry
Simpson recently
announced
the addition
of Earl White of West Virginia to IM’s 2010 Ambassador team. The
Mission’s Ambassador program began in 2007. Ambassadors represent the
Mission in local churches and district
association meetings, promoting the World Missions Offering (WMO) and
encouraging the use of coin banks. “I believe Earl will be an
outstanding addition to our Ambassador team,” stated Barry.
Currently serving as assistant pastor of Nolan FWB Church, White has a
long history of service to the denomination in
the state of West Virginia. He spent 11 years on the West Virginia State
Executive Board, 6 years on the West Virginia State Missions Board, as well as serving two years
as assistant moderator and one year as moderator of the state
association. White, as a 19-year-old, professed Christ as Savior on June
30, 1974. He was ordained as a deacon three years later and
received his ordination to preach in 1986.
Earl is married to Debbie and the couple has two children: Adam and
Ashley.
