West Virginia State Association Promotional Director

PROMOTIONAL  DIRECTOR'S  ANNUAL  REPORT  TO  WV STATE  ASSOCIATION
June 8, 2018

Greetings from your State Promotional Director.  It has truly been an honor, a privilege, and a joy to be able to represent the W.V. State Association
at Conference and Churches across our state, as well as at the National Association and other such meetings and events.  I have heard some good messages, good singing, and good testimonies;  but most all I have enjoyed the fellowship, and the Spirit of the Lord, that I felt among our people.

It has been a blessing to work with the very talented men and women of the both our State Association and National Association, in an effort to promote the work of our Lord Jesus Christ;  to encourage the hearts of believers;  and to strength the will of God's people to better serve Him.

I have been very busy the past year, traveling over 10,000 miles and working nearly 900 hours attending:
26 Conferences;  11 Churches;  5 Executive Committee Meetings;  6 Mission Board Meetings;  2 Christian Education Board Meetings;  2 Executive Board Meetings;  the National Association of Free Will Baptist in Louisville, KY.;  the  National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN.;  a meeting with Randall House Publication in Nashville, TN.;  the State Promotional Directors Meeting in Tampa, FL.;  the Southern Ministers and Deacons Seminar at 5&6 Holden FWB;  a Seminar on Church Security at Harmony FWB;  the Bible, Music, and Arts Festival at Victory FWB;  and the Brotherhood Conference Ministers and Deacons Seminar at Good Shepherd FWB;  placed at least 31 calls on CallMultiplyer to inform our people of events, announcements, and Conference meetings;  and have talked to numerous State and National leaders, as well as many others who have called for information, resources, and advice.

Things are looking good across our state.  Fellowship is good.  Folks seem to be encouraged by the news of what is happening in the State Association, and the National Association.  They seem genuinely  concerned about our Missionaries;  about the different seminars that have been offered;  about the Children's Homes, WAC, Master Men, Bible College, etc.

There is more to come in the months ahead:  National Association will meet in Little Rock, AR. on    July 22-25, 2018;  Christian Education Board Retreat / Training Workshop on Aug. 11, 2018, at McCorkle FWB;  WAC Annual Retreat on September 7th & 8th, 2018 at Chesapeake FWB;  Bible, Music, and Art Festival on March 30th, 2019 at Central F.W.B.

If I can be any assistance to you, your church, or your conference, feel free to contact me.  If you would like for me to come to your church:  to share what is going on, and what is available to help and strengthen your congregation;  or just to preach.  I would very much enjoy spending some time with you.  Please call me at  304-595-2555 (o)  or  595-4246 (h) to set up an appointment.

Thanks, For Allowing Me To Serve You,

Rev.  Rickie Holstein
